Introduction.
Our musculoskeletal out-patient clinic is conveniently located in St Martin’s with onsite parking, including disabled parking. Our clinic is equipped with a large physiotherapy gym space with 4 assessment bays, as well as 6 individual clinic rooms.
At this site we have a team of highly qualified and experienced therapists, with a broad spectrum of clinical interests that mean we can offer an extensive service for out-patient musculoskeletal problems. This ranges from sports injuries, to back pain, neck pain and other joint and muscle pain and conditions. We can also help with pain and loss of function associated with arthritis and other age related conditions. We also offer post-surgical follow up to patients discharged from our acute teams at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
Additionally, our pelvic health specialists are also based on this site, offering assessment and treatment for both men and women with pelvic pain or loss of pelvic floor function and bladder control.
Our Physiotherapists use a wide range of treatment techniques including advice on modifications of activity, prescriptions of therapeutic exercises, as well as manual therapy, acupuncture, joint manipulations and Pilates. We work with all our patients to identify their goals, and devise a treatment plan to help support them to return to the activities they enjoy, without pain and to the best of their ability.
