Our Story

Originally founded in 1998, 4 partners came together to create a physiotherapy practice that would join several specialities of physiotherapy. Since then GTG has grown into the largest and longest established physiotherapy provider in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. With over two decades of experience in providing physiotherapy services, covering the widest range of specialities available on island, you can rest assured you are in safe hands.

Since forming, GTG has continuously developed and expanded its services in line with the island’s healthcare needs. Our experienced team consists of over 30 qualified physiotherapists, with an additional team of over 20 support staff.

Although GTG is a privately owned physiotherapy provider, in 2002 we were awarded a contract by the States of Guernsey to provide physiotherapy services within secondary healthcare, ensuring anyone that required physiotherapy could access our services. We have maintained this contract with the States of Guernsey ever since, building a strong partnership where our shared goal is the commitment to always putting our patients first/excellence in care.

GTG follow a robust quality and safety framework.

Our Standards.

GTG has a robust quality and safety framework with software systems that have been designed to measure and monitor all aspects of patient care and outcomes achieved. This information is vital in helping us continually evolve, shaping and improving our services for our patients.

In addition to this, as part of our contract with the States of Guernsey, we are required to regularly evidence our high standards of patient care through a varied programme of audits and quality and safety frameworks put in place by HSC. We continue to evidence our high standards, year after year, enabling us to maintain our contract.

All of our physiotherapists are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). The HCPC are the regulating body for health, psychological and social work professionals and were set up to protect the public, setting standards we must evidence we are achieving.
